WHAT THEY DO

Plantlife works to protect threatened wildflowers, plants and fungi.  They own and manage nearly 4500 acres of nature reserves across Great Britain, and campaign on issues such as preserving peatlands and tackling invasive species.

WHERE THEY ARE

Whilst a British charity, they work both nationally and internationally.  Their HQ is at Salisbury although they also have national offices for Wales and Scotland, and staff across the country.

HOW TO HELP

You can help support Plantlife through donations or becoming a member, purchasing products from their online shop, helping with fundraising or volunteering.  Their website also has lots of educational resources, information about upcoming events, information about their nature reserves and more!

Cumbria Wildlife Trust

WHAT THEY DO

Cumbria Wildlife Trust works to conserve the wildlife and wild places of Cumbria (flora and fauna, marine and terrestrial), and to inspire people to understand, appreciate and improve the natural world.

WHERE THEY ARE

Cumbria Wildlife Trust, as the name suggests, works in Cumbria from their HQ at Plumgarths.  However they are also part of the larger organisation The Wildlife Trusts which is a partnership of 46 local trusts across the whole of the UK.  If you don’t live in Cumbria and want to find your local Wildlife Trust you can do so by entering your postcode here.

HOW TO HELP
